Registered Psychotherapist

I’m Victoria Banman, a Registered Psychotherapist, and I’ve been warmly welcoming clients into my practice for over a decade. With a trauma-informed and person-centered approach, I’m passionate about walking alongside you through whatever life has brought your way—whether that’s anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, stress, relationship concerns, or trauma.

From our very first session, you can simply come as you are. Together, we’ll explore what you’re hoping for in therapy—whether that’s building coping skills, deepening self-understanding, or healing in your own way.

I draw from an integrative mix of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Body Movement/Somatic Therapy, and Polyvagal Theory, all to tailor our time together to your unique needs. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. For more information go to CRPO.ca.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply uncertain, you don’t have to face it alone. My greatest hope is to walk with you through the valleys, helping you learn new skills, uncover inner strength, and feel truly respected and heard—and I’d be honored to accompany you on that journey.

Side note: I have a Schnoodle named Kevin who often joins us for the session. I am accepting new clients 17 yrs & older.

Life and relationships can be beautifully complex—sometimes leaving us unsure of our next step. I deeply believe you are the expert of your own story, and even when things feel tangled, there is always direction and possibility ahead. In our time together, you’ll find a space where you’re truly seen, heard, and supported as we collaborate toward the goals that matter most to you.

As a therapist specialized in marriage and relationship work, I’m committed to helping couples explore what makes their connection feel stuck or misunderstood. Whether it’s difficulty expressing feelings, fragile family dynamics, or persistent patterns that are hard to break—we’ll approach them gently and compassionately, working toward greater harmony and understanding.

I also offer empathetic support for individuals grappling with a variety of concerns from grief and loss to trauma, anxiety and spirituality. Together, we’ll sit with the complexity of those emotions, offering a tranquil, safe space where healing can gently unfold.

My approach blends warmth and compassion with tailored, integrative therapy. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed techniques such as EMDR. I’m also grief- and loss-informed, weaving together what feels most supportive and authentic for you.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master of Divinity in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University, and I’m honoured to walk alongside you on your journey toward hope and healing.

On a lighter note, I’m a proud cat mom to two sister rescue cats who keep me grounded (and amused!) when I’m not in session.

If you’re navigating uncertainty, transitions, or emotional overwhelm, please know: you don’t have to go through it alone. I’d be honored to accompany you toward clarity, connection, and renewed hope.

Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist

For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people in some of their most vulnerable moments—listening to their stories, holding space for their emotions, and helping them find hope again. Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, my goal is always the same: to create a warm, safe space where you feel understood and never judged.

I believe therapy is a journey we take together. I am a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist and completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Waterloo. I use an integrative approach drawing tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma- and resiliency-focused approaches. But more importantly, I bring compassion, curiosity, and genuine care for the person in front of me.

Whether you’re navigating depression, grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, trauma, or stress, I’m here to walk alongside you—helping you uncover your strengths, build resilience, and discover new possibilities. It’s my greatest joy to see people step into a life that feels more grounded, hopeful, and true to who they are.
