The process of therapy is specific to each individual. Though it looks different for every person, it typically takes the form of a conversation.
I work with individuals over the age of 17.
Relationships are hard at times. At Banman Psychotherapy we are
dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of their relationships
and to find fulfilment in their partnerships. We facilitate couples in defining
their patterns of engagement or “the dance” as we call it in Emotion
Focused Therapy (EFT). With EFT the focus is on strengthening
connection as a couple, not on who is to blame. Together, we will journey
towards healthier communication, deeper connection, and lasting
solutions.
Therapy is a safe space where individuals can recognise their negative thinking patterns, gain self-awareness, learn coping strategies, as well as understand the biophysiology of mental health.
